Stack Layer Customization

Stack Layers are selected when adding or editing an Environment.

Location of Stack Layer in Environment Manager

Go to Environment > Manager then open an Environment.

Stack Layer is the open drop-down menu in the image below in the Environment pop up Details tab in the Technical Specs and Configuration panel.

Add a Stack Layer

To add a Stack Layer:

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Environments.
  2. Click Stack Layer.
  3. Click Add Field.
  4. Type the new Stack Layer into the Value field.
  5. Click Submit.
    The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
    If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.

 

 

Edit a Stack Layer

To edit a Stack Layer:

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Environments.
  2. Click Stack Layer.
  3. Click to select the Stack Layer.
  4. Click Edit Field.
  5. Edit the Stack Layer in the Value field.
  6. Click Submit.
    The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
    If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.

 

 

Sort Stack Layers

Sort Manually

Sorting Stack Layers manually changes their order in drop-down menus.

Refresh your browser to sort manually after sorting alphabetically. 

To sort Stack Layers manually:

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Environments.
  2. Click Stack Layer.
  3. Hover your mouse cursor over the sort column.
    The sort handle (six gray dots) appears.
  4. Left click and drag the sort handle to resort the Stack Layer.
  5. Click Submit.
    The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
    If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.

Sort by Column Header

Sorting Stack Layers by column header only changes their order on the Customization page.

To sort alphabetically on the Customization page by column header:

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Environments.
  2. Click Stack Layer.
  3. Click a column header.
    The Stack Layers will revert to their previous order when you click away from the Customization page.

 

 

Delete a Stack Layer

Deleting a Stack Layer will not delete it from Plutora. But it will no longer be available when creating a new Environment.

To delete a Stack Layer:

  1. Go to Settings > Customization > Environments.
  2. Click Stack Layer.
  3. Click to select the Stack Layer.
  4. Click Delete Field.
  5. Click Submit.
    The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
    If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.
