The Welcome Message Customization allows administrators to add, edit, and hide the pop up that opens when users log into Plutora.
Administrators can also send users a message using the Announcements Feed.
Location of the Welcome Message
The welcome message appears on a pop up after a user has logged in.
Add a Welcome Message
To add a welcome message:
- Go to Settings
> Customization > Site Settings.
- Click Welcome Message.
- Type the new Welcome Message.
- Click the Enable Welcome Message for All users toggle switch until it is blue and On.
- Click Submit.
The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.
Hide the Welcome Message
- Go to Settings
> Customization > Site Settings.
- Click Welcome Message.
- Click the Enable Welcome Message for All users toggle switch until it is gray and Off.
- Click Submit.
The yellow Your changes have been saved pop up opens and closes.
If you click away from the Customization page without clicking Submit, your changes will not save.
Reset the Welcome Message
Users can click to select the Don’t show this message again checkbox and click Close on the Welcome Message pop up to stop the message appearing each time that they log in.
Clicking Reset and Make Welcome Message appear for all users in the Welcome Message Customization will reset the welcome message for any users that have selected Don’t show this message again. The welcome message pop up will reappear when they log into Plutora.
