Introduction to Deployment

Plutora Deployment Management provides you with automated run-book capabilities to define, manage and report on go-live implementations into your Production estate. Deployment Management includes built-in approval workflows to ensure that run-books can be tested in a pre-Production or Staging environment and that any issues or feedback captured during the go-live is captured. 

Complex deployments consisting of multiple run-books can be managed simultaneously and can be viewed holistically in a Command Centre. The run-books can be used to orchestrate automated activities, as well as manage any manual tasks.   

You can have a ‘Master Deployment Plan’ or a stand-alone ‘Deployment Plan’. Master Deployment plans are commonly be used for Enterprise Release there have multiple project releases and effect systems across multiple Portfolio Associations. Each Project Release would have its own Deployment Plan for the Systems they are responsible for.

Deployment Plan Activities feature enables you to capture the individual activities to be performed as part of each deployment plan. You can create capture or document any issues encountered during deployment that affect the ability to complete a Deployment Plan Activity using Deployment Plan Issues.
