Manage TECRs With Outages Impacting Releases Report

TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases Report allows users to see the Releases which are impacted by TECR Outages. Accountable Environment Managers can then be asked to move the outages.

Location

To locate the TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases Report Report:

  1. Go to Reporting > Analytics.
  2. Search for TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases.

 

Layout

The TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases Report displays the following:

  • Filters:

    • The top section of the TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases Report allows the user to filter the data in the rest of the report by:
      • TECR Start Date.
      • TECR Due Date.
      • Env. / Env. Group.
      • Organization Name.
  • Headers.
  • Data columns.

 

How to Find Releases that are Impacted by TECR Outages

To find Releases that are impacted by TECR outages:

  1. Go to Reporting > Analytics.
  2. Search for TECRs with Outages Impacting Releases.
  3. Filter for the TECR Start Date and TECR Due Date at a minimum.
  4. How to read the data:
    1. TECRs within the selected time period will appear in the TECR Details column.
    2. Outage Start Date and Outage End Date are listed for each TECR.
    3. Environments or Environment Groups affected by the outage are listed under Env. / Env. Group.
    4. Releases affected by the outage by having Environments or Environment Groups booked during the outage time are listed under Impacted Releases.
    5. The Accountable Stakeholder for the Environments or Environment Groups affected by the outage is listed under the Environment Manager column.
    6. Other Releases affected by the TECR, but not necessarily by the outage are listed under TECR Linked Releases.
  5. The user can contact the Environment Manager of the affected Environments or Environment Groups and ask them to move the outage so it doesn’t impact the Release.
