Blockout Periods feature allows users to view, search, and filter their Blockout Periods.
Blockout periods are holiday periods or other times when a Release cannot occur. They are also known as Blackout Periods.

Filter Blockout Periods by Year
To filter Blockout Periods:
- Go to Release > Blockouts.
- Click to select the Show drop-down menu:
- All time.
- The current year.
Sort Blockout Periods
To sort Blockout Periods:
Expand All/Collapse All
Click the Collapse All button to show only top-level Portfolio Associations.
Click the Expand All button to show all Portfolio Associations.
Show and Hide Columns
To show or hide columns in the Blockout Periods Management page:
- Go to Release > Blockouts.
- Hover your mouse cursor over a column header.
The header menu button appears.
- Click the header menu button.
- Click Columns.
- Click to select or deselect column checkboxes.
View the History of a Blockout Period
To view the history of a Blockout Period:
- Go to Release > Blockouts.
- Click the blockout period’s blue link under Blockout Name.
- Click the clock-shaped button
to view the Audit History.
- Search and filter the history:
- Live Search: Type a parameter or value and press the Enter key.
- Filter: Click to select one or more of the All, Added, Modified or Deleted checkboxes.
Use Query Builder
Query Builder allows users to create and save their own private searches and use public searches. (Users must have the Create/Delete Release Public Query Builder user permission to create, edit or delete public queries.)
