User Management

Introduction

The User Management feature in Plutora enables you to view, search, and manage user accounts.

Pre-requisite

To be able to access the ‘User Management’ feature, you must be an administrator.

Settings > User Management.

User Management Grid Layout and Features

On the User Management page, you can:

Search and Filter Options

To filter users using ‘Live Search’, enter a full or partial user name and click .

You can also search a user from the drop-down menu next to ‘Live Search’.
Click and select a user from the drop-down. Then click .

Clear your search by clicking .

Filter Using Grid Column

The grid column selector is the set of search fields and menus at the top of the data columns, under the column headers.

Grid Column Selector is available for the following fields:

  • First Name.
  • Last Name.
  • Email.
  • Portfolio Association.
  • User Groups.
  • Status.
  • User Role.
  • Activation Date.
  • Last Login.

The following columns lack a grid column filter:

  • Is from AD: This fields stats if the user is from AD (Active Directory). Users that were added through SSO will have a ‘Yes’. Users that were added by adding a user through Plutora will have a ‘No’.
  • User Level Action: Contains the action buttons for Edit, Reset, and Delete.

Sort Users

To sort users, click a column header once to sort in ascending order and twice to sort in descending order. For more information, see Sort Column Header.

Show and Hide Columns

You can show or hide these columns using the grid column selector. Hover your mouse cursor over the column header to see .

Click the button and select Columns. The list of columns available on the grid will be displayed. Select or deselect the checkboxes to show or hide columns.

Page navigation buttons and fields are at the bottom of the User Management page:

  • Click  to navigate forward
  • Click to navigate backward.
  • Type a page number and press Enter on your keyboard.
  • Click to refresh the page.

Use Query Builder

Query Builder allows you to create and save your own private searches and use public searches. (No users permissions are associated with creating public searches.)

Click   to open the quick access menu, which lists private and public queries.

User Management Buttons

The buttons along the top of the User Management page are:

Other buttons available on the User Management page:

: Click to reset the user password. Refer to Reset Password.
: Click to edit the user details. Refer to Add Or Edit Users.

: Click to delete a user. Refer to Delete Users.

More Information

Last Accessed vs Last Login Date

The ‘Last Accessed’ column on the User Management page enables you to track the active accounts by showing the last date a user used Plutora.

Whereas the ‘Last Login’ date column shows the date the user logged into Plutora, but may not have actively used Plutora.
