TEBR Status Customization

Introduction

You select TEBR Statuses when adding or editing a TEBR (with or without a release) on the Environment Requests page.

Pre-requisite

To be able to customize the TEBR Status, you must have ‘Access Customizations’ User Permission

 Settings  > Customization > Environments > TEBR Status

Add a TEBR Status

To add a TEBR Status:

  1. Navigate to Customization’ page and click Environments.
  2. Click TEBR Status.
  3. Click . The system adds a line on the grid for the new status. To edit an existing status, search and click on the status from the grid and then click 
  4. Enter/update the TEBR Status in the Value field.
  5. Double click the Color column and select a color from the drop-down menu or enter a Hex value. This color appears in the Environment Schedule when Show TEBR Information is enabled.
  6. Select a mode from the Mode drop down. For details on mode types see Types of Mode.
  7. Select the Default checkbox to make the item appear by default in the drop-down menu.
  8. Click .

Your changes will be saved and a confirmation message will display.

Sorting ‘Change Custom Lists manually’ changes their order in the drop-down menus

To sort manually:

  1. On the ‘Customization’ page, navigate to Environments > TEBR Status. 
  2. Hover your mouse cursor over the sort column of the Value that you want to sort.  appears.
  3. Drag and drop the Value as you require.
  4. Click .

Sort by Column Header

Sorting by column header only changes their order on the ‘Customization’ page.

To sort alphabetically on the ‘Customization’ page by column header, click on the column header. ↑ or ↓ displays indicating the ascending or descending column sort.

Delete/Replace a TEBR Status

Deleting a TEBR Status will not delete it from TEBR records. But it will no longer be available when adding or editing a TEBR.

While deleting, you can either select another status item that will replace the item to be deleted or simply delete the item from the list. Replacing a Status will replace it in existing records.

To delete or replace a TEBR Status:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Customization’ page and double click Environments.
  2. Click TEBR Status.
  3. Select the status that you want to delete or replace. 
  4. Click .
  5. The ‘Replace with existing value’ dialog displays. 
    • To replace: select the item that will replace the item to be deleted from Replace with. Then click .
    • To simply delete the item, click .

The item is now deleted and the page navigates back to the Status page.

Enable Workflows

Workflows allow users to:

  • Create a sequence of TEBR Statuses for each TEBR Type, from an initial status to an end status.
  • Assign the privilege of setting that status to User Roles (Permission Roles).

If workflows are turned off, all TEBR Statuses will appear in the TEBR Status drop-down menus in Environment Requests. If workflows are turned on, only the TEBR Statuses set for that TEBR Type or the default TEBR Status will appear.

To enable workflows, select the Enable TEBR Workflow checkbox. Then click .

Your changes will be saved and a confirmation message will display.

Location of TEBR Status

To locate the TEBR Status field:

  1. Go to Environment > Requests.
  2. Click the TEBR tab (if it isn’t open already).
  3. Click to open a TEBR.

The TEBR Status field is located in the ‘Information’ panel under the ‘Details’ tab.

Types of Modes

  • Requested: For statuses relating to newly created Environment Requests such as Backlog, Review, and so on.
  • Approved: For statuses relating to requests that have been approved such as Approved, Processing, and so on.
  • Completed: For statuses relating to requests that have been completed successfully. It makes the status an end state.
  • Cancelled: For statuses relating to requests that have been retracted. It makes the status an end state.
