Manage Plutora Test Dashboard

Plutora Test’s Dashboard (similar to Plutora’s Dashboard Manager) shows a snapshot of Test Plans, Requirements, Defects and more. The information is displayed inside panels (also known as widgets) which are located inside tabs.

Add a Dashboard Panel

To add a Dashboard panel:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click to select a tab.
  3. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button Tab cog wheel on the tab.
  4. Click Add Panels.
    A pop up list of panels opens.
  5. Select one or more panels by clicking Add.
  6. Click Done.

 

Rename a Dashboard Panel

To rename a Dashboard panel:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button Tab cog wheel on a panel.
  3. Click Rename.
  4. Type the new name.
  5. Press the Return key on your keyboard.

 

Remove a Dashboard Panel

Removing a Dashboard Panel does not delete it from Plutora Test.

To remove a Dashboard panel:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button Tab cog wheel on a panel.
  3. Click Remove.
  4. Click OK.

 

Add a Dashboard Tab

To add a Dashboard tab:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click the Add Dashboard tab button.

  3. Select a panel to add to the new tab and click Add.
  4. Click Done.

 

Rename a Dashboard Tab

To rename a Dashboard tab:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click to select the tab.
  3. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button. Tab cog wheel
  4. Click Rename Tab.
  5. Type the new tab name.
  6. Press the Return key on your keyboard.

 

Remove a Dashboard Tab

Clicking Reset will restore your dashboard tabs after removal.

To remove a Dashboard tab:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click to select the tab.
  3. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button. Tab cog wheel
  4. Click Remove Tab.
  5. Click OK.

 

Change Dashboard Tab Panel Layout

To change a dashboard tab layout:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click to select the tab.
  3. Click the cog wheel-shaped settings button. Tab cog wheel
  4. Click Change Layout.
  5. Select the number of columns from the drop-down menu or Free-form to arrange the panels manually.
  6. Select column widths by clicking a radio button.
  7. Click Done.

 

Reset Dashboard

Administrators create dashboard layout templates for user roles using Dashboard Template Administration. Users can make changes to the original layout that only they can see.

To restore the original dashboard tab layout:

  1. Click DashboardDashboard
  2. Click Reset.
