The Plutora Test Screen Capture Plug-In works with Chrome browser to allow users to capture and annotate screenshots and video as attachments while using Plutora Test.
Videos created from Plutora Test’s Screen Capture are now saved in AWS, meaning that an unlimited number of 25 MB or less videos can be saved as attachments.
Download and Install the Plutora Test Chrome Screen Capture Plug-In
To download Plutora Test Chrome Screen Capture Plug-In:
- Open Chrome browser.
Plutora Test Screen Capture Plug-In is currently only supported by Chrome. - Go to one of the areas in Plutora Test where attachments can be added:
- Requirements.
- Test Plans.
- Test Designer’s Test Cases (manual or automatic).
- Defects.
- Above the Attachments panel to the left of the green attachments button will be a camera and video icon, each with a red dot.
- Click the camera or video icon to open the Install Plutora Test Screen Capture Plug-In pop up.
- Follow the instructions in the pop up.
Once the Plug-In is installed, it’s icon will appear in your browser and the camera and video icons will lose their red dots, showing that they are ready for use.
