Delete Requirements

The Requirements page allows users to view, search and filter all Requirements and see their associated categories, dependencies, and test plans.

Requirements are the goals a piece of software must achieve to be accepted. For example, the Requirements of a website might be that it works on devices and is usable across browsers. Plutora Test allows users to create any number of Requirements that can be reused in multiple tests.

Delete Requirements

Users must have the Requirement Delete user permission.  

Deleting a Requirement will remove it from its associations. For example, Test Cases.

To delete Requirements:

  1. Click Requirements.

  2. Delete the Requirement:
    1. Via the Action menu in the right-hand column.
      The menu button is hidden until the cursor is hovering over it. If the Action column is not visible, reduce the width of the columns until it appears.

      1. Click the menu (three dots) in the right-hand column.

      2. Select Delete.
      3. Click Ok.
    2. Via the button on the Requirement:
      1. Click the Requirement’s blue-linked ID or Name.
      2. Click the delete button in the bottom-left corner.
      3. Click Ok.
